Meet Lisa
Lisa Ballard
I am a Certified Sisterlock Consultant who is very passionate about natural hair, especially locks. After years of chemicals , extensions, and weaves, I decided it was time to go natural and did the big chop in 2000. In 2007, I wanted to grow my natural hair, so I did some research to find a lock style that would be acceptable in a professional environment. I discovered Sisterlocks and had them established at Locks 4 Life located in Oak Park, MI. Sisterlocks is the best hair decision I ever made! I love my Sisterlocks so much that I wanted to help and serve others who want to start their natural hair journey with Sisterlocks. In 2014, I completed the 4 day intense Sisterlock training session and immediately started offering Sisterlocks services. I became an "Approved" Sisterlocks trainee in 2017 and became a Certified Sisterlock Consultant January 2019.

LMB Virtual Locks Policies
At LMB Virtual Locks, you will be serviced in a relaxing, professional, home atmosphere in which you will have my full focus and attention during your appointment. In order for your Sisterlocks™ to be uniform in appearance and remain strong and healthy, we must form a partnership. This partnership means agreeing to be consistent with maintenance, following post-appointment instructions, and using recommended Sisterlocks™ products as applicable. To provide you with the very best quality of service, the following policies have been implemented
- All services by appointment only.
- The time for your appointment is blocked off only for you, so please be on time. Things do happen, however, so please call me at (615) 944-0180 if it looks like you will be more than 15 minutes late. If you must cancel an appointment, a 24-hour notice is requested.
- If something comes up and I have to cancel your appointment, I will contact you immediately to let you know and to reschedule.
- Please shampoo your hair within 24 hours of all appointments – including Consultation, Locking Session, Follow-Up, Retightenings, Repairs, and Grooming sessions. You should arrive at your appointment with you hair free of any hair products.
- You will be quoted the price of your 3-visit package during the consultation. The $30 non-refundable consultation fee and the $100 deposit to reserve your locking session will be applied to the cost of your full package.
- You may pay for your 3-Visit Package in installments, however your final payment is due before the Locking Session can be started.
- No personal checks please. Cash, Credit/debit cards, PayPal (lisa.boyd214@gmail.com), and Apple Pay are welcome.
- Installment payments can also be made through PayPal, Cash App, or Apple Pay.
Referrals
If you refer a client who gets the full 3-Visit Package, you will receive 25% off your Retightening.
If you refer a client who gets a Retightening, Repairs, or Grooming, you will receive 20% off your next Retightening.
